At Cannes Yachting Festival 2021 Invictus Yacht will display a line-up of models capable of showing the full variety of the Italian shipyard’s ranges, led by the World debut of the new SX200 and the French premiere of the flagship TT460.Invictus Capoforte SX200World premiereSX200The new SX200 is the first in the Capoforte collection that includes models from 19 to 28 feet (previously grouped under the letter X) is a synthesis of functionality and fun. Managing to recreate livable, usable spaces in just six meters was a complex challenge but turned out to be a success. The bow and stern areas can be used as sundecks or lounges, either separately or configured as a single large space. The layout with an off-centre console permits a convenient direct passage between bow and stern, leaving space for a grill. The storage adds further practicality to a boat whose style, exclusive finishes and exuberant performance unequivocally convey a sporty vocation.SX200The sporty nature of the Invictus Capoforte SX200 is underlined by the 150 hp outboard engine which easily takes the boat to over 30 knots, while 20 knots is the best option for fuel-efficient cruising. TT460 French premiereTT460The characterizing element of the new Invictus TT460 is the elegant style of the windscreen, from the bow to amidships, which blends seamlessly with the carbon hardtop and further enhances the impressive mass of this yacht. The deck, which includes a comfortable walkway on its perimeter, has a large sundeck in the bow with a flush-seat at the edge. Amidships, the dinette tables can be folded back to make room for a second sundeck, shaded by the hardtop. In the same position, the topsides can be equipped with two foldable platforms, which increase the liveable space aboard. Teak wood can be laid on the stern swim platform and on the whole deck. A hydraulic moving device can be added to help swimmers climb back aboard and to manage the tender, which is an unusual feature on this type of yacht. The new TT460 is equipped with two Volvo Penta IPS 650 engines.TT460Invictus Yachts has given owners plenty of opportunities to customize the interiors, there are plenty of colours and types of upholstery to choose from the Atelier Invictus, so owners can configure their boat to satisfy their needs and according to their personal taste. TT460In addition to the SX200, there will be the CX240, the CX270 and the SX280. The flagship TT460, the GT370S and the GT320 will be in the water.The Italian shipbuilder produced open type boats with multiple vocations. The debut production will include two ranges of leisure boats, corresponding with two types of propulsion: inboard-outboard for the “GT” series, more tending to leisure and sailing, and outboard for the “FX”, more technical and sporty. Moonen Yachts has shared the construction updates on the YN201. YN201 is the fourth Martinique. Last Wednesday the 33.6m superyacht had her twin Caterpillar C32 Acert engines hoisted into her engine room. A step that comes right before the joining of the hull and superstructure. Yesterday, the next milestone for YN201 was checked off the list as her aluminium superstructure was joined to her high tensile steel hull. “Every time it’s amazing to see the yacht in its full glory for the first time. This point also marks the start of our intense outfitting period where all systems will be installed, the luxurious interior will be built-in and she will be painted in her final colours. The next time she will be outside, she will be fully ready to be launched,” says Ian Vermoen, Project Manager.YN201, which is available for sale, is due for delivery in 2022. The Amels 200 Moonstone is the second yacht to be delivered from the Amels 200 Limited Editions range. She features exterior design by Tim Heywood and custom interiors by Luxury Projects.The Amels 200 design shares the same naval architecture, high volume and hybrid electrical power technology as its predecessor, the Amels 188, as well as the four-deck elevator and air-conditioned gym on the sun deck. Where the Amels 200 differentiates is with her elongated design which allows for larger aft decks and swim platform and full-height windows in the owners suite.“We’ll be heading off to Athens to pick up the guests and from there, we’ll be going onto the Aeolian islands, followed by Sicily and finishing up in Sardinia. So a nice long maiden voyage, checking out most of the Mediterranean. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the capabilities and seeing what Moonstone is made of,” says captain Nathan Milicich.The delivery of Moonstone comes just three months after the announcement of her sale and launch.Damen Yachting, a division within the Damen Shipyards Group, was created in 2019. Lürssen will be displaying the latest delivery from the yard at the Monaco Yacht Show this year. Project 13800 will be delivered during this summer and will have her world debut at the show. Lürssen is known for manufacturing the largest yachts in the world but at the moment is targeting projects in the 55 to 75 meter range. Project 13800 is a first step in reestablishing the brand as a serious proposition for yachts in that size bracket as well.The experienced owners had a clear idea of what their needs for their lifestyle are – a customized engineered yacht at 56 meters. The exterior and interior were made by Bannenberg & Rowell. A fearless use of colours and textures as well as museum quality interior furniture pieces underline the approach of tremendous attention to detail – not only in the interior spaces but also in the technical areas. “We are hopeful that the revamped show concept of the Monaco Yacht Show will be a success and that we will have the opportunity to engage with many new build customers,” says Michael Breman, Sales director. Princess Yachts hosted Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal at the South Yard facility in Plymouth last Wednesday. Princess Anne visited Princess Yachts as an extension of awarding their Apprenticeship programme with a Princess Royal Award in 2020. The awards are selected by Her Royal Highness and the President of City & Guilds Group, Sir John Armitt, to recognise organisations whose training has delivered measurable business impact.Princess Yachts award-winning Apprenticeship scheme won The Princess Royal award for 'positioning apprenticeships as a viable career choice'. The shipyard was recognised for having invested in their apprenticeship programme to ensure that they have a strong talent pipeline in place. Apprenticeships at Princess are open to employees of any age, with apprentices progressing their career path within the business and in fact 10% of the current managers within the business are former apprentices. British yacht builder Princess Yachts was founded in 1965, manufacturing fibreglass yachts ranging from 13 to 40 meters in length. Its parent company is the French luxury group LVMH. In just 15 days Sanlorenzo has launched the fourth and fifth units of the Alloy and the sixth unit of the 52Steel at the La Spezia shipyard. Alloy A fast-displacement model measuring 44.5m in length, with three decks and a tonnage of 490 GRT, built entirely in aluminium, the Sanlorenzo superyacht Alloy has the owner's cabin, conceived as a private apartment of 147 sq. m, divided into three interconnected levels, with an indoor and an outdoor area, a design never seen before on a superyacht of this size. Alloy A superyacht offering incredible spaces to enjoy the living area and outdoors: from the sun deck, with its 83 sq. m exterior area offering multiple possibilities for open-air lunches, sunbathing, relaxation and socialising, to the large 102 sq. m beach club consisting of a bar/gym area, a folding stern platform and two lateral ones.52SteelThe 52Steel features large interior and exterior volumes and design solutions normally found on much larger models, along with visionary technical innovations that have become the inspiration for the entire industry.One of the revolutionary elements of the 52Steel is the entire aft area: the swimming pool with its transparent bottom on the main deck allows the passage of light into the environment below, a large floodable garage area convertible into a beach area can be extended thanks to the folding terraces, creating a surreal effect.Sanlorenzo does not slow down its course and travels towards new records: the eighth unit of the Alloy line and the eighth unit of the 52Steel range are currently under construction.Sanlorenzo was founded in 1985 in Viareggio by yacht builder Gionvanni Jannetti.
